Access To Insight
Access to Insight is an Internet website dedicated to providing accurate, reliable, and useful information concerning the practice and study of Theravada Buddhism, as it has been handed down through both the written word of the Pali canon and the living example of the Sangha.
The readings assembled here represent just a selection of the Buddha's teachings that the site's owner found to be helpful in deepening an understanding of Dhamma practice. This collection is not meant to be an exhaustive archive of Theravada Buddhist texts.
Everything available at Access to Insight is offered in full cooperation with the authors, translators, and publishers concerned, with the clear understanding that none of it is to be sold.
BPS Online Library
The Buddhist Publication Society intends to put both its complete Wheel Publication Series and its complete Bodhi Leaf Publication Series on this website. Many of these have already been put on the internet through the Dharmanet and Access to Insight Transcription projects. Moreover, they also intend to put some of their book publications from the BP Series, such as the Path of Purification, and some other publications on this site.

DhammaStudy
A large collection, sorted for beginning, intermediate, and advanced students of Abhidhamma. Mostly written by Sujin Boriharnwanaket and Nina van Gorkom, collected by the study group in Thailand that grew out of the former teacher's school.
Sacred Texts
This site is a freely available archive of electronic texts about religion, mythology, legends and folklore, and occult and esoteric topics. Texts are presented in English translation and, where possible, in the original language. This site is not sponsored by any religious group or organzation.
VRI Research Index
Index of Research Papers published by Vipassana Research Institute, a school that grew out of the ministry of Vipassana meditation teacher S.N. Goenka. Awakened Heart Project
The mission of Awakened Heart Project is to promote the use of Jewish contemplative techniques that foster the development of a heart of wisdom and compassion. Cultivating an awakened heart leads to acting in the world with loving-kindness towards all beings recognizing them as manifestations of the Holy One of Being. The AHP provides opportunities for a focused effort at refining contemplative Jewish practices, such as meditation and prayer, as well as creating opportunities for intensive practice.
BuddhaNet
BuddhaNet is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Buddha Dharma Education Association Inc, which was first established as a Vipassana Meditation Centre in 1992 in Sydney by an Australian meditation monk Ven. Pannyavaro. BDEA has since evolved as a Buddhist Information and Education Service.
BuddhaNet is a non-sectarian organisation, offering its services to all Buddhist traditions. It aims to facilitate a significant Buddhist presence in the ever-expanding realm of computer communications technology, applying this technology to helping make the Buddha's teachings freely available to all.

This site offers freely downloadable Dhamma talks, books and essays by Thanissaro Bhikkhu (Phra Geoffrey DeGraff, or Ajaan Geoff), a senior monk in the Kammatthana (Thai Forest) tradition of Theravada Buddhism.
DharmaNet
DharmaNet International's Internet clearinghouse for Buddhist study and practice resources has been online since 1991. Dharmanet hosts its own in-house databases and collections, as well as providing links to worldwide online Buddhist resources, large and small.
Gil Fronsdal Talks
Fronsdal has practiced Zen and Vipassana since 1975 and has a Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies from Stanford. He has trained in both the Japanese Soto Zen tradition and the Insight Meditation lineage of Theravada Buddhism of Southeast Asia. He was trained as a Vipassana teacher by Jack Kornfield and is part of the Vipassana teachers' collective at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. He was ordained as a Soto Zen priest at the San Francisco Zen Center in 1982, and in 1995 he received Dharma Transmission from Mel Weitsman, the abbot of the Berkeley Zen Center. He has been the primary teacher for the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, California since 1990. He is a husband and father of two boys.
Hesychasm
Online Books and Patristic Sources on Hesychasm, an eremitic tradition of prayer in the Eastern Orthodox Church, and some other Eastern Churches of the Byzantine Rite. Based on Christ's injunction in the Gospel of Matthew to "go into your closet to pray" Hesychasm in tradition has been the process of retiring inward by ceasing to register the senses, in order to achieve an experiential knowledge of God.

Peter Holleran Articles
The material on this site addresses topics that are of varying degrees of difficulty. Articles attempt to be thematic on various aspects of the spiritual quest, with frequent, yet not exclusive, reference to the work of several dharma teachers and influences, most especially Sant Kirpal Singh, Anthony Damiani and Paul Brunton, as well as that of many spiritual friends and writers, both past and present.
